Subscription Policy (Updated 26th April 2021)
What is a subscription?
None School User:- This site is only available for schools. Only a school can sign up to this site. This is an educational site for schools only.
School Subscription:- There is a 1-year minimum term, after which you can cancel or continue on a yearly fee. The school fee covers the entire school at the level you have chosen. This could be KS3, KS4, KS5, or all.
How much does a standard subscription cost?
The subscription varies depending on the level you want. Our current policy is that if we increase our prices you will continue to pay the old price for a period of time. If you cancel your subscription and then sign up again or miss a payment you will join at the new rate. We will inform you via this page if we change our policy but we have run it this way for over 3 years and see no need to make any changes in the near future. It rewards those schools with long-standing subscriptions, and we are all about rewarding schools. We charge a licence fee for the school plus a cost per student so the payment is fair.
Beta Testing Subscriptions
If you are keen to work with us, we also offer places for beta testing schools that can have a discount, however, there are key things a beta testing school must do, so you must read the terms in the FAQ below before you sign up as a failure to complete the questionnaires 3 times a year would result in you agreeing to pay back the amount you were discounted. The good news is that the questionnaires only take about 5 to 15 mins to do, so it is a bargain if you can get one of these limited places. Creative I-Media is now fully available. Some schools who are wanting Business studies have signed up to this scheme even though the content they want is a year or more away as it would work out cheaper, this is fine but remember, you must use the current content to be able to give the feedback.
How do I cancel?

How do I create a subscription?
You mentioned a beta testing subscription. What is a beta Testing Subscription?
This is a special subscription given at a discounted rate for schools willing to test the site and receives the new features as they are released. There are a number of rules for a Beta Testing School which must be adhered, if these are not completed the school agrees to pay back the amount that was discounted for the beta testing package. This is because schools are given a very generous discount, so we can gain feedback to make the site better for all schools, if schools take the discount but do not feedback, then they have not upheld their side of terms and conditions. We know the time in school is precious so the tasks only take from 5 to 15 mins 3 times a year.
You agree to
- The school must feedback 3 times a year by completing the questionnaire in their control panel in December, April, and July each year, this questionnaire takes around 5 to 15 mins to complete.
- The school must report any faults.
- The school can make priority suggestions.
What do you get?
- A discounted rate
- The discounted rate continues every year until there is a break in your subscription.
- Priority suggestions
- New features first
- Priority support
- Ability to suggest new features
What happens if I don't do the questionnaire as a beta testing school?
After a period of 14 days, you will be sent a reminder that you failed to complete the questionnaire and you will need to do that if you wish to keep your discount. We only have so many testing school places and they are in demand. If you fail to complete the questionnaire within 7 days of this reminder a second reminder will be sent and at that point, you will have a further 7 days to complete it or an invoice will be automatically generated for the discount you received. Your service will continue but you will no longer be at the discounted rate.
What if I don't want to pay the beta testing agreement fine?
By using the beta testing system you are agreeing to pay and this statement is clearly displayed on our website and has been explained to your nominated person upon the setup of your account. This is there to ensure that schools do not just agree to the large discount, they do help to support the site. It is designed to prevent schools from taking the large discount and then refusing to feedback. Feedback is the most important part for us.
What if I find doing the 3 questionnaires a year too much?
You should request to have your account changed to a full account from a beta testing account. This process is simple. You will still need to complete the 3 questionnaires for the year you have been given the discount but your next year's bill can be changed to a non-beta testing charge.
What if I have not used the site much?
Part of your commitment to beta testing is to use the site regularly. It covers KS3 and KS4. We make sure that you are running courses that we cover so it is easy for you to use. If you don't then you will be unable to complete the questionnaire so you will need to pay the difference because you are not able to give the feedback we require, but don't worry we do make sure that you are running the courses that we support so even if you are just running it with one class 3 times a year you can still give feedback.
What if do not renew my beta testing subscription?
If you do not renew you will lose your beta testing discount and you will need to pay the full price should you sign up again? This is because another school will have taken your place or the scheme has ended. If a beta testing place becomes available during your term, you may be offered it and given a pro-rata refund.
If I was a beta testing school, can I be put on a waiting list to be one again?
Yes, every school can apply but we only have so many places, once filled, you will need to wait for one or pay the full price.
